Who We Are

Trustco, Inc. was formed in 1973 with the help of Brent Probst, Leo Barlow and Christensen Diamond Products. After one year of operation, Trustco had $75,000 in revenue and represented four insurance companies: Travelers, Transamerica, Royal and Globe. Over the years Trustco has achieved steady growth thanks to insurance legends like Steve Hawkins, Ted Ashton, Bruce Christensen, Tom Kingdon, Ken Miller and Doug Stewart. Today we enjoy the company of 41 colleagues who are dedicated to delivering the finest in insurance and employee benefit products to our customers.

Trustco is one of the larger independently owned insurance agencies in Utah. We are fiercely independent and we are closely aligned with the Independent Insurance Agents Association both on a national basis and here at home. We represent over thirty insurance carriers on a direct basis and have the ability to place business with many others through the relationships we have built over the years.

Trustco's clients run the gamut, everything from the publicly traded companies to your corner dry cleaner, your neighbor's house, and maybe even your home or auto. We operate with a strict policy of honesty, integrity, and innovation, and seek to earn your business each and every day by following these values.

Over the years we have developed special programs for Earthquake and Flood coverage (HCIT), Geotechnical Consultants and Engineers, Real Estate Agents and Brokers, Chimney Sweeps, Life Science and Nutraceutical Manufacturers and High Net Worth Personal Insurance.
